Massive defection Hits Opposition Political Party in Kogi LGA

Another massive defection has hit the opposition political party party in Igbogo, Gegu South and Gwari Quarters, Ukwo Ward of Koton Karfe, of Kogi LGA, Kogi state.

The Leader of the defectors, Mr Solomon Musa stated that the good Governance of Gov. Yahaya Bello is reason behind there massive decamping from PDP to APC.

Mr. Solomon who spoke on behalf of the defectors, hinged the efforts of Gov Bello in the health sector, provision of potable water, rural electrification of several communities in Kogi LGA as unprecedented, described the present administration as getting the recognition it deserves unlike in the past.

The defectors equally praised the open door policy and accessibility of the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu, who they explained has served as a bridge irrespective of his political affiliation.

The spokesman of the defectors and others assured that they are there supporters have overwhelmingly endorsed the administration of Gov Bello and the APC, promising to deliver massively for the APC in the forthcoming general election in 2023.

Receiving the defectors, Engr Bashiru Gegu, explained that politics is about development, assured that they will be adequately catered for in the APC, with there interest in infrastructure development and empowerment made a priority.

Engr Bashiru praised the efforts of Gov Bello in Kogi LGA under his administration, said the people of Kogi LGA have never witnessed infrastructure development like it is presently experiencing, welcome them into the APC.
