Ofu LG Chair, Amodu Destiny thanks Governor Bello, promises good governance
The just sworn in Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government, Hon. Amodu Ibrahim and his Vice, Mrs. Paulina James have expressed their profound gratitude to God for a successful inauguration, and thanked the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello for being the tool used by the creator in enthroning quality leadership at the Local Government levels.
He made the statement shorty after his inauguration as the Executive Chairman of the Local Government.
Hon. Amodu particularly appreciated the Governor for ensuring that the swearing in of today was successful and for giving him the privilege to be called an Executive Chairman of a Local Government. He thanked the people of Ofu Local Government Area for their overwhelming support and pledged to uphold the confidence reposed in him by providing dividends of democracy.
He further reiterated his determination to replicate the developmental strides of the New Direction administration in the Local Government, and promised an all inclusive Governance in which no class will be ignored.
