Leke Abejide Delivers Again: LASG Hails Grand Patron as Okeaga Road Opens in Odo-Ere

The Leke Abejide Support Group (LASG) has commended its Grand Patron, Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, following the commissioning of the newly constructed Okeaga Road in Odo-Ere, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.

In a statement issued to the media, the Chairman of LASG’s Media and Publicity Committee, Bashorun MD Eseyin, said the road project reflected Abejide’s commitment to infrastructure development and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of his constituents.

Eseyin said the group was not surprised by the development, noting that Abejide’s record of projects and programmes across Yagba and Okun land had provided material for the group’s public awareness efforts.

According to him, the commissioning of Okeaga Road represents a step towards improving local infrastructure, facilitating movement and enhancing residents’ well-being.

The group congratulated the people of Odo-Ere and the entire Yagba West constituency on the completion and commissioning of the road, describing the development as welcome news for the community.

LASG also expressed hope that the road would support socio-economic activities and contribute to an improved quality of life for residents.

However, the group noted that the delivery of infrastructure projects also raises expectations among the people, stressing the importance of ensuring that such developments translate into tangible benefits for the community.

LASG reaffirmed its commitment to promoting public awareness of Abejide’s legislative representation, development initiatives and contributions to Yagba, Okun and Kogi State.
