Ejeh of Olamaboro Commends Power Rotation Advocacy, Sues for Peace Among Stakeholders

The Ejeh of Olamaboro and Chairman of the Olamaboro Area Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Sir Ujah Sani Simeon, has expressed support for ongoing conversations on power rotation in Kogi State, describing the initiative as a meaningful discussion that requires constructive engagement among stakeholders.

The traditional ruler made the remarks when he received members of the Power Rotation Advocacy and Campaign Team, led by Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, during a courtesy visit to his palace.

Sir Ujah Sani Simeon commended the advocacy efforts aimed at promoting peace, unity, equity and sustainable development in the state, while stressing the need for fairness, inclusiveness and mutual understanding in political affairs.

He called on political stakeholders to embrace dialogue and peaceful approaches in addressing issues surrounding political representation and power-sharing.

The Ejeh also made contributions to the advocacy initiative, offering perspectives and guidance aimed at strengthening the campaign’s objectives and encouraging wider stakeholder participation.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi appreciated the traditional ruler for his reception, counsel and support.

Adeyemi noted that traditional institutions remain important in building consensus and promoting peaceful engagements on issues affecting the political future of Kogi State.

The visit is part of the team’s ongoing consultations with traditional rulers and other stakeholders across the state as it seeks to deepen discussions on equitable power rotation and promote unity among the people.
