Our system is solid, don’t work against it – Gov. Bello charge party members

Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello has expressed that the system of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi state remained very solid, hence true party faithfuls should not work against the structure.

The governor charged that, the structure and party system which had ensured successes in several outings across the years must be retained while party faithfuls and leaders show loyalty.

Governor Bello who met on Sunday with APC stakeholders from Idah Federal Constituency said that owing to the consistency of the party system in the state, those who would want to work against it would be easily identified and equally expunged.

While charging party members on the need to work for the successes of APC candidates across board in the forth coming election, he assured that every benefits that should come to them as grass rooters would reach them directly without the influence of third parties.

He said “we are coming up with a system whereby every party member in Kogi state will have this direct benefits. There will be no room for anyone to be excluded and there will be platforms where you as grass rooters can reach me directly and inundate me on happenings in your wards, Polling Units, Local Government”.

The governor promised that no hardworking and loyal Kogi APC party member’s interest would be short changed adding that no one irrespective status would be allowed to jump in through the roof but rather due process would be ensured in all regards.

Governor Bello expressed that he was confident that the party and it’s structures have the required capacity to win elections and would in fact deliver maximally the highest percentage for candidates in the forth coming general elections.

“Never again would we allow anyone from the diaspora come and deceive us, by selling mundane and trivial sentiments to divide us, this time we are undertaking a politics of inclusivity”, he noted.

In his vote of thanks on behalf of the party stakeholders, Sen. Jibrin Isah thanked the governor for creating such a robust platform to meet with the true party men who sell the gospel of the party in their respective locality.

He affirmed that the numerous infrastructural strides of the governor across the state have earned the party 70% of votes in the forth coming election while the remaining 30% has been cemented by the interface with the party stakeholders at the grassroots.
