Pharm. Asuku Wins Nomination For Most Supportive Personality Award »

The Chief Of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu has won the Most Supportive Personality Award organized by a social media platform ‘Kogi Social Media Awards’ in honor of eminent sons and daughters of Kogi State.

Among the eminent personalities and philanthropists across the state nominated in the category included Pharmacist Iduh who garnered 697 votes, 414 comments, Hon Khalifa Abdulrahman with 201 votes, 12 comments; and Hon Shaba Isah Ibrahim with 137 votes, 33 comments.

Others include Sam Adejo Okedi, 87 votes, 12 comments and Zekeri Alfa, 112 votes 46 comments.

Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu who emerged winner scored 923 votes, 477 comments to clinch the most supportive award was declared winner by the organizers of the award having pulled the highest votes in the contest with a margin of 226 ahead of the first runner up Pharmacist Iduh in a keenly contested duel which ran into the early hours of Friday, 15th January, 2021

In a congratulatory message, The ‘GYB E-Media Network’ said the Award was well deserved owing to the humanitarian disposition of the Chief of staff.

The group stated that, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu has availed his office since his appointment as DG Protocol to support hundreds of indigenes of Kogi State and has intensify the support as chief of staff. Pharm. Asuku is noted for his selfless contributions especially in the area of Health, Youth Empowerment and fund for market women. Other areas include support to indigent students both in secondary and tertiary institutions through payment of school fees tuition fees and other challenges.

In 2019, the Chief of staff empowered over 200 young men and women in various crafts, paid the bill of patients in hospital ranging in millions of naira. Asuku as fondly called by admirers empowered over 100 widows from Central Senatorial District on 2nd January 2021 to mark his birthday. As part of his humanitarian service, he placed over 200 young kogites from the 21 local governments of Kogi State on a monthly pay to help in cushioning the hard time.
As he carries out these selfless service to humanity, the world watches and of course this is revealing in the various award he has won both on and off social media.

It’s on record that Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu is the first chief of staff in the history of Kogi State to have been so humane in the discharge of his duty as an appointee of the governor.
