Kogi POHAN gets new Acting Chairman, Hon. Haruna Okpanachi Yusuf »

The National Secretariat of POHAN the parent umbrella body for Former and Serving Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria today announced the approval of Hon. (Barr) Haruna Okpanachi Yusuf as the Kogi State Chapter POHAN acting Chairman.

In a statement signed by the Acting National Secretary, Moses Oluyemi Eniola, Hon. Haruna was carefully selected and agreed upon in an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Association held in Abuja the Nation’s capital on the 6th of July 2020 after considering other nominations.

Until his appointment, Haruna was an elected member of Kogi State House of Assembly who represented igalamela-odolu constituency between 2003 to 2007, he was appointed special assistant to the Kogi State Governor on International Economic Relations between 2008-2012, he last served as a Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Legislative and Assembly matters, 2016-2019.

The board of trustees of the association having approved the appointment of Hön. (Barr) Haruna Okpanachi Yusuf as acting Chairman POHAN Kogi State chapter added that his resumption is with immediate effect.
