Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bello on Security matters in Yagba West LGA, Tade Oshaloto has felicitated with the people of Yagba West LGA on the commencement of the fasting season, urging them to show love to people and participate earnestly in charity works

He also advised that they should remain dedicated to the practice of the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).

The SSA made this known on Friday through a signed press statement made available to members of the fourth estate of the realm.

He noted further that they should also use this period to pray fervently to God to put an end to the ravaging COVID’19 and similarly pray for the healings for those who have been affected already in Nigeria and the world at large.

The Statement reads “I congratulate the good people of our dear Local Government, particularly Muslims for witnessing yet another holy month of Ramadan.

As we all know, Ramadan is a season that teaches self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate. It encourages acts of generosity and compulsory charity (zakat)
Ramadan is also a time of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, heightened devotion and worship to Almighty Allah”.

He prayed that Almighty God would in his infinite mercy grant all Muslims in the Local Government, Kogi State and in Nigeria as a whole, the strength to complete this noble course and as well provide all that would be needed to succeed.
