I have been directed to explicitly respond to a mischievous buzz going around regarding the sacred throne of Ejeh Ankpa and the selection of His Royal Highness, Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II as the Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa traditional council by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The attention of the throne has been drawn to a poorly done narrative with the heading above, dubiously aiming at creating a malicious impression that there is a hiccup in the selection of the current Ejeh Ankpa, renowned Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II.

Ordinarily, it would be needless to spend a second in responding to such laughable and insignificant rumor emanating from a known mischief maker and for the fact that the king is already facing a tight schedule leaving no stone unturned to make Ankpa great, but for the benefit of the general public and for the purpose of enlightening the good people of Ankpa that this rejoinder is being sent out.

We want to make it clear that such unnecessary uproar and alarums are borne out of the frustration of One Mr. Alanco whose unmerited claim to the throne was thrown out by standing and ever subsisting laws of the land, that of the government and the expedition of due diligence.

The public is by this publication advised to;

Pay no attention to the malicious and fallacious speculations that Ejeh’s selection is under any legal scrutiny.
Jettisoned the news that Ejeh Will not be presented with the Staff of Office, because the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has singled out the Ejeh’s coronation to take place at Ankpa where he would be in attendance to officially present the Staff of Office accordingly,
