Security Gains: Lokoja Council Boss Commends Ododo, Charges Youths on Advocacy »

The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has charged Kogi State Youth to remain focused and continue to support the Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

In his address at the round table session organized by the Kogi State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Abdulrasheed Buhari Lokoja, the Council Chairman tasked the Youth Leaders and Stakeholders to take it upon themselves to spread the excellent work the Kogi State Government ably led by His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo is doing to ensure safety and security of both residents and the millions of travelers transversing Kogi State daily being a gateway state linking the Northern and Southern parts of Nigeria.

“His Excellency has committed a lot of resources to achieve this level of security. Unlike other infrastructures, spending on security cannot be measured like buildings, roads or other physical infrastructures, we can only feel it and we are feeling it. Kogi is safer than all neighbouring States.”

“In the last couple of months, I can confirm to you that we have recorded zero cases of kidnapping or banditry because of Gov. Ododo’s determination to eliminate those threats and criminals that almost took over our forests.”

He assured the Youth Leaders that Kogi State Government from 2016 under of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello till now has always favored the Youth and has deliberately placed this demography in it’s rightful place, as an important cog in the wheel of progress hence the trust to hold sensitive position, thereby playing crucial roles in shaping the future of the State.
