Senate Whip Lauds Gov Bello Over Improved Security, Integration In State »

The Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia state, Senator Orji Uzo Kalu has lauded Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello over an improved security and harmonious co existence in the State.

The All Progressive Congress Chieftain gave this commendation on Wednesday while paying a courtesy call on the confluence state Governor at his office in lokoja.

The Former Governor asserted that the responsibility of security and safety of citizens in respective state must be the prioritized urging that state governors to see such responsibility as solely a state’s duty.

The Senate Chief Whip thanked the APC Caretaker Chairman Alhaji Mai Mala Buni for committing the registration and revalidation role to Governor Bello as he was confident that he would deliver in the numbers of new members being expected.

The Governor in his own remark described Senator Kalu as a Man of honour who he has a cordial relationship with as he has never stopped motivating, encouraging and supporting him since the inception of his administration till now.

He expressed that as regards his current assignment, Mr. President in his wisdom has severally advised and admonished that there should be vast interest in the governance at all levels and as such, people should pick serious interest in belonging to a political party most especially the APC

The Governor alluded that Mr. President has being doing a lot to ensure that the country remained peaceful, united and prosperous noting that as a worthy role model they following his foot steps were highly encouraged.

The governor mentioned that Mr. President has given the opportunity for every Nigerian to come into the party and add their voice to governance in their respective capacity.
