Smart Adeyemi Campaign Council Congratulates Bello on his victory at the polls; appeals to electorate to vote candidate again »

The Director Adeyemi Smart Adeyemi campaign council, Hon. Tiamiyu Fancy-Jimoh,Monday Congratulated the government and people of Kogi state on the successful conclusion of gubernatorial election ,and the victory of the All Progressive Congress, APC, candidate Governor Yahaya Bello at the polls.

In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity, Senator Smart Adeyemi Campaign Council, Musa Tanimu Nasidi,and made available to journalists in Lokoja, Jimoh commended the well-articulated campaign programme of the APC in the state, the doggedness of governor Bello and his running mate, Chief David Edward Onoja and APC in going round the state to reach the people with records of good governance over the years and a promised of continuity.

According to the DG, the outcome of the election clearly reflected the mood of the people to sustain the pedigree of responsiveness, forthrightness and diligence that Governor Bello brought into the service of his people.

‘‘The victory is good for democracy, for Nigeria and the people of Kogi State,’’ he said.

According to the Director General, the victory was well-deserved as the campaign trail, which Distinguished Senator Adeyemi didn’t only joined, but led worked hard to sell APC people-centred manifesto.

He also applauded the conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies, corps members and electorate in ensuring a peaceful election.

He appealed to the people of Kogi West to come out enmass anytime the INEC release the date for supplementary/ rerun Kogi west senatorial election and cast their votes for Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi for better representation.
