Team GYB KADPOLY organize seminar on good governance, extols Gov. Bello good performance

The Team GYB Kaduna Polythecnic group on Saturday have extolled the good performance of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello whom they said has in the last three years of his Administration have exemplified good governance.

This was made known by the Team leader, Comrade Hamidat Umar while speaking at the Seminar organised by the team for students of the institution on good governance.

The Team leader thanked the student for massively turning out for the event despite their tight schedule and preparations for their forth coming examination, urging to study hard to have excellent results.

Comr. Umar appreciated the chief of staff, to the Governor, Chief Edward Onoja and the Director General Media and Publicity to GYB, Mr. Kinsley Fanwo for their immeasurable support to the team.

In a speech delivered by Comrade Aruwa Paul, one of the leaders of the team, he listed ou few achievements of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration which included the rehabilitation of various institutions of learning with the provisions of laboratory equipments, construction of roads across the three senatorial district, rice mill in yagba East, rural electrification, reinforcements and recruitment of security personel which has made kogi state the second most peaceful state in the country.
He also mentioned that among other things the promt payment of students bursary by the New Direction government has remained a plus to its numerous achievements.

Aruwa also used the medium to clearify to the students that some of the workers complaining of not being paid salaries were actually affected by the screening exercise conducted in the state while he also gave an assurance that the issue of nonpayment of salary would soon be a thing of past as effort were being made topay the outstanding salaries.
He added that leadership was never an easy task but affirmed that with Governor Yahaya Bello, kogi state would soon be ranked among the top ranking states in the country in no distant time.

A senior lecturer from the institution , Alh. Awwal Isah an indigene of Kogi State, applauded the efforts of team GYB, adding that the movement for GYB was a welcomed development

He further expressed his delightness over the unity that existed among the members of the team in spite of the differences in the tribe they came from.

Alhaji Awwal equally made the students to understand that the issue of debt of salary began right from the time of Alh. Ibrahim Idris Ibro, the then governor of the state and as such, remedying it would not be challenging.
He howevr implored the kogi state students to vote GYB for second tenure, capitalizing on the youthful age being the best within that age bracket that should be given leadership mandate.
