Wife of Kogi Deputy Governor disowns fake Facebook account
Wife of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Mercy Ejura Onoja has disowned a fake Facebook account which is being used by unauthorized persons in her name. In a statement issued by her Assistant, Halima Isah, the Deputy Governor’s wife dissociated herself from the fake Facebook page (Her Excellency Mercy Onoja) and warned the public not to engage with the account under any guise, as it is fraudulent.
“The attention of the Wife of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Mrs Ejura Onoja has been drawn to a pseudo account opened in her name on this platform.
“This is to inform the general public to disregard friend request from the said Facebook page with the profile picture and name below “Her Excellency Mercy Onoja.
It is not in any way connected to the Wife of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Mrs Onoja. It is fake, an act of impersonation and the handiwork of some disgruntled mischief makers. Relate with them at your own risk.

(1) Okee Ejura Mercy Onoja which is her personal account and handled by her.
(2) Mrs Ejura Mercy Onoja, Wife of Deputy Governor, Kogi State which is her official page managed by her office.
‘We hereby appeal to the general public to help report the account as fake for necessary action.’
