Williams Unites APC Forces in Olamaboro, Paving Way for Harmony Ahead of General Stakeholders Meeting »

In a bid to foster unity and peaceful coexistence within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro Local Government Area, Hon. Comr Ameh Williams, the Transition Chairman, convened a crucial meeting with critical stakeholders from across the region. The gathering marked a pivotal moment ahead of the upcoming general party stakeholders meeting in Okpo.

The meeting, the first since Williams assumed the role of Chairman, successfully brought together various factions within the party, emphasizing the importance of collective strength for the APC’s progress.

Expressing gratitude to party leaders for their support, Williams underscored the significance of overcoming past differences for the overall advancement of the APC and the development of the state. He addressed the gathering, stating, “We must put behind us the events of the last few months and come together as one big family for the progress of the APC and the development of our dear State.”

Highlighting that recent events were part of the political process and not a cause for division, Williams stressed the need for a united front. “There should be no division in our party. There is a need to make our party stronger, and that necessitated the idea of this enlarged critical stakeholders meeting to bring everybody on board,” he added.

The upcoming general stakeholders meeting, scheduled for the weekend, aims to further consolidate party strength and cohesion. Ameh Williams, recognized as one of the most effective transitional chairmen in Governor Ahmed Ododo’s administration, aligns his efforts with the governor’s commitment to build on the legacies of the former governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

Key issues discussed during the meeting included security and other pertinent matters, reflecting the comprehensive approach undertaken by the APC in Olamaboro under Williams’ leadership.

The meeting was attended by all political stakeholders in the LGA, including Honorable Bobby Ujah, the member representing Olamaboro State constituency in the State Assembly; Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe; former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. Yunusa Gabriel Olofu; immediate past chairman of the council, Hon. Friday Adejoh; and other key stakeholders.
