The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu has affirmed that the All Progressive Congress in the state is united because of the leadership style of the Governor and leader of the Party in the State.

He made this known on Friday at the APC stakeholders meeting in preparation for the forth coming Local Government elections in the state.

He pointed out that the State has a leader in Governor Yahaya Bello who cared for the people and have always ensured that the people’s interest takes priority above any other as he has remained resolute on not mortgaging the lives of his people for any planned agenda.

The COS noted that the recently held, rancor free primary elections across the 21 LGAs was made possible because of the Governor’s firmness in ensuring that peace reigned, hence party loyalist emerged as candidates for the December 12, LG polls

While he thanked the party stakeholders and the people of the state for their continued support of the Governor’s administration, he appealed to citizens to further key into his policies which he said were in the interests of the state and its people.
