Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa has congratulated his close friend, Alhaji Yusuf Momoh Adama, following his approval as the new Anaja of Gbobe in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Bala Alfa, in a congratulatory message, described the development as a significant moment for the people of Gbobe and a new chapter in the life of his long-time friend.
He said he had known Yusuf Momoh Adama for many years as a calm, humble and respectful person who values peace and maintains good relationships with others.
“Yusuf has been a dear friend and brother to me for many years. I have seen his humility, his respect for people and his love for peace. I am happy to see him take on this new responsibility,” he said.
Bala Alfa said traditional leadership goes beyond titles and honour, stressing that it also involves service, patience and responsibility to the people.
He congratulated the people of Gbobe on the approval of their new traditional ruler and expressed hope that the reign would be peaceful and successful.
“May God give His Royal Highness the wisdom to lead with fairness, patience and humility, and may his reign bring greater unity and progress to Gbobe,” he added.
