Eid-El-Fitri Message From Kogi State Polytechnic

On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board and Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I heartily rejoice with the Muslim faithful in the Polytechnic, Kogi State and beyond, on the successful end of this year’s Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

  1. I also wish to specially felicitate with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, our dear leaders of thoughts and the government and good people of Kogi State, for the grace to witness the auspicious moment.
  2. To the Muslim Ummah in particular, I want to use this opportunity to implore us to reflect on the symbolic sacrifice of the holy month and use the lessons to strengthen our sense of unity, compassion, selflessness and sincerity of purpose.
  3. It is my sincere prayer that we use the moment to explore and build on the strength of our diversity and shun all forms of inclinations capable of destroying our common heritage as a nation.
  4. As we mark Eid-el-Fitr, may Allah, in his infinite mercy, accept our supplications, grant our heart desires and, for the sake of the holy month of Ramadan, rid our State and nation of the current security challenges.
  5. I also pray that He overlook our shortcomings, strengthen us individually and collectively, and put our dear state and nation on the path of safety and sustainable development.
  6. Once again, on behalf of Kogi State Polytechnic, hearty felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful end of Ramadan fast and the commemoration of Eid-el-Fitr.

Signed:
S. O. Usman, PhD, fcia
