Ijumu traditional Communities honour GM Kogi CSDA, Mall Momoh
Enamored by his show of commitment to developing local communities through his Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), communities in Ijumu Local Government Area have applauded the General Manager, Mallam Dauda Momoh and are prepared to confer Chieftaincy titles on him.
The traditional ruler in charge of Ogale – Idi – Oro, Oba Abdulrahman Ibinola had earlier during the commissioning of a Primary Health Cottage Hospital and a Town hall in his domain, praised the love shown to his people by the state CSDA.
According to the traditional ruler, they have been so neglected and have fallen short in terms of infrastructural development that the intervention was one they cherished beyond their ability to state in words.
He noted that the area would forever recognize Mallam Momoh in honour of whom a daughter was given to as part of appreciation, saying a date would be set for the proper coronation for the Chieftaincy.
The Community also used the occasion to confer a Chieftaincy title on the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon Taufiq Isa for the manner he has piloted the affairs of the LGA and for his demonstration of love for the area.
Speaking before the commissioning, the Chairman had described the CSDA as one the state government was using to bring succour to communities neglected for long, saying those benefitting currently in his Council were proof.
He said the Local Government would not forget Mallam Dauda Momoh who has shown passion to his work by being present during project construction and now, during commissioning.
He said Governor Yahaya Bello is a man that has shown uncommon commitment to enhancing the standards of the entire state and called on people across the state to give him unalloyed support for him to succeed.
Speaking at Ekinrin – Adde, the traditional ruler in charge, Oba Anthony Bamboye Idowu whose Community has a fully equipped ICT Centre sighted, said the people would continue to work assiduously in support of government, saying computer was necessary in modern world.
He expressed preparedness to ensure youths of the area make adequate use of the centre for the development of the community, the state and the country at large.
