Senator Ohere Appreciate Supporters, Urges Faith In Tinubu, Ododo Administration »

The Distinguished Senator Abubakar Ohere has appealed to the people of the state to be hopeful and remain prayerful for the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and the actualisation of President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Senator Ohere further enjoined the people to be hopeful and remain prayerful for Tinubu, Ododo, to actualise their development agenda for the country and state.

The Nigeria Airforce Conference Centre Abuja was agogged on Wednesday, 2024, as the Distinguished Senator Abubakar Ohere received a large number of supporters group amidst cheers and happiness.

The supporter’s group, which was led by their various leaders, expresses their happiness meeting their leader, Sen. Ohere since after the last election.

Senator Ohere, who started his opening remarks by praising his leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the immediate past governor of Kogi State.

Sen. Ohere described Alh. Yahaya Bello, as a great leader, a democrat to the core and the chief upholder of constitutionality in Kogi State, and his democratic credentials and commitment to democratic values are beyond question.

Sen. Ohere further listed former governor Bello’s qualities to include indiscriminate love for all people regardless of tribe, religion, class, and gender and said governor Ahmed Ododo is on the right track too.

Senator Ohere commended Gov. Ododo for prioritising workers’ welfare, saying there is a lot of joy at the grassroots due to the increment in workers’ salaries.

He expresses confidence in Gov. Ododo’s administration, saying his predecessor has done wonderfully well on infrastructure, health sector, human development and many others.

The supporters group in their hundreds includes the Apex body of Ohere support groups, Ohere Political Vanguard, Agada/Okovi/Ada Ehi Women in Politics, Ohere women in Diaspora, Ohere G24 Movement, Ohere E-Media Team, and Ohere Market Women.

The leadership of the group’s in their unanimous voices pledges their unalloyed support for the current administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

They also urged Senator Ohere to always remain focused and never give in to the distractors.

“We urge Senator Abubakar Ohere not to be distracted by the show of ingratitude, hate, and contempt towards him by some quarters after all his efforts to bring the present government to power. Your good intentions for the state are known by your leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, and is appreciated by the people of the state who values you. And those rewarding you with disrespectful and ill-will are on their own. Our support remains unflinching for Alh. Yahaya Bello, the immediate past governor and the new Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.”
