Dekina Local Council Boss, Urah Ikani Distributes Palliatives Across 12 Wards »

The Transition Committee Chairman of Dekina Local Government, Hon John Urah Ikani, has released palliatives to the people across the 12 wards and in Dekina Local Government at the local government head quarters Dekina, to help cushion the effect of the removal fuel subsidy in the country. As the distribution of food palliatives is ongoing across the state, the caretaker chairman has taken a step further to provide relief to the people across the 12 wards and Polling Units in Dekina Including Elders Advisory Council, Security Agencies, PWD, Unions, Market women’s, stakeholders and others.

Speaking during the food distribution to the ward chairmen’s And the polling unit leaders in Dekina, Dekina Local Government Area, the Administrator Dekina Local Government, Hon. John Urah Ikani noted that the palliatives are succor released by the Dangote Foundation through the State Government to help ameliorate the effects of the released fuel subsidy in the country. He appreciated Alh. Aliko Dangote for the relief package while urging the beneficiaries to extend hands of fellowship to other members of the society, especially the poorest of the poor. He equally thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his Fatherly and graciously releasing the palliative to all kogites irrespective of political affiliation.

On this note Dekina LG party chairman, Hon. YUNUSA ISHAQ, commended the Executive Governor Of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for having welfare of the people at heart and for providing relief to its people at this trying time through the caretaker chairman Dekina, Hon John Urah Ikani And He promise the caretaker chairman that he will use his office to ensure that the palliatives reach out to those who is meant for across the 12 wards and 362 Polling Units in Dekina.
