Special Adviser to Kogi state Governor on Energy Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has described the death of legal icon, late Ustaz Yunus Usman as a colossal loss to the nation, unforgettable loss to the legal protection and sore pain to people of Kogi state, especially those related with him closely while alive.

The Special Adviser who is also the Chairman of Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor said late Ustaz was a man of integrity, great love, humility and patriotism. He said the late member of the inner bar of the NBA lived a life of sacrifice, love to another and and commitment to uphold justice, rule of law and equal rights for all.

Omoluabi said Ustaz Yunus was a lover of the younger generation who spent his life and time building the next generation of legal icons, leaders and humble people. He commended the late senior advocate of Nigeria for being blemish, upright and philanthropic.

I have lost a father figure, a reliable legal icon, quintessential patriot and humility personified elder statesman. I recollect his character of hardwork, cheerful disposition and adherence for fair play and egalitarianism. The news of his death was the rudest shocker, most painful occurrence and humbling one. I will always remember his love and ability to listen. I will not forget his extraordinary legal exploits and indelible landmark record embarked upon in his life. May God grant you eternal rest”, Omoluabi said.
