Igala Community Demands Justice for Murdered Youth, Salome Eleojo Adaidu

The Igala Brothers and Friends Initiative (IBFI) and the Igala community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have expressed deep shock and sorrow over the brutal murder of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, describing the incident as a senseless and heinous act of violence.

In a statement signed by the National Leader of IBFI, Comrade Philip Ameh, the group strongly condemned the killing and called for a thorough and impartial investigation. They demanded that the suspect, Timileyin Ajayi, if found guilty, be brought to justice without delay.

“We condemn this horrific crime in the strongest possible terms. The perpetrator must be held accountable, and we urge the authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into this murder,” the statement read.

The group extended heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, acknowledging the profound pain caused by her untimely death.

“This tragic loss is a painful reminder of the need to foster a society built on respect, tolerance, and non-violence. We must work collectively to ensure that such evil acts are never repeated,” IBFI stated.

The organization further outlined three key demands: A thorough and impartial investigation into Salome’s murder, swift prosecution and punishment of those responsible and overnment action to tackle the root causes of violence and promote a peaceful society.

    The Igala community emphasized the importance of standing united against violence and pledged to continue advocating for justice and societal reforms.
