Less Than One Year in Office: KSCOET Provost Earns Council’s Commendation

The Governing Council of Kogi State College of Education, Technical, Mopa has commended the Provost, Professor Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, for his remarkable efforts toward the transformation of the College in less than one year of his appointment.

The commendation followed an inspection tour of the college by the Chairman and members of the Council during the 29th Regular Meeting of the Governing Council held at the College campus in Mopa.

In a commendation letter signed by the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Ibrahim Enebe Abdulraheem, the Governing Council stated: “The Council went round the College on inspection and was overwhelmed with the various infrastructural projects you have embarked upon, ranging from the perimeter fencing of the College, a befitting gate, Deans’ Offices as well as the Administrative Block. This is quite impressive and indicative of the fact that the State Government made the right decision to appoint you as Provost of the College.”

The Council further described the Provost’s leadership as visionary, innovative, and transformative, noting that the pace of development achieved within a short period is commendable.

Responding, the Provost thanked His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo, Governor of Kogi State, for granting the needed resources to work, as well as the Governing Council for the award, and assured members that the recognition would spur him to do more in advancing the growth and development of the College.
