Ododo Congratulates APC Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda at 58

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on his 58th birthday, commending his leadership of the governing party.p

In a congratulatory message signed by the Governor, Ododo described Yilwatda as a committed party leader whose leadership has contributed to the stability, unity and growth of the APC.

Ododo said Yilwatda’s return as National Chairman at the party’s 2026 National Convention reflected the confidence reposed in his leadership by APC members and stakeholders.

According to the Governor, Yilwatda has brought his experience, intellectual depth and understanding of contemporary political dynamics to the leadership of the party at what he described as a critical period in the nation’s political development.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Kogi State, I warmly congratulate our dear National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on the occasion of his 58th birthday,” Ododo said.

The Governor commended the APC chairman for what he described as efforts to strengthen the structures of the party and provide leadership aimed at keeping the APC united and focused on delivering President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Your leadership of our great party at this important moment in our national journey has demonstrated courage, wisdom, maturity and a clear commitment to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress,” he said.

Ododo expressed confidence that Yilwatda would continue to deploy his experience and capacity in the service of the APC and Nigeria as the party consolidates its gains and prepares for future challenges and opportunities.

He also prayed for the APC chairman to be granted good health, wisdom and many more years of fruitful service.

“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health and grant you many more years of fruitful service to our great party, our nation and humanity.

“Happy 58th birthday, Your Excellency. Congratulations, and many happy returns,” Ododo said.
