Ahmed Mohammed Awards Scholarships to Seven Pupils in Ankpa
The Zonal Security Adviser for the Ankpa Federal Axis, Rt. Hon. Chief Ahmed Mohammed, has awarded scholarships to seven graduating pupils of Global Education Center, Ojede, Ankpa, Kogi State.
The scholarships will cover the beneficiaries’ education from Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS 1) through the completion of their secondary school studies.
Mohammed announced the scholarship awards during the school’s graduation and prize-giving ceremony, where he also made a cash donation towards the institution’s ongoing science laboratory project.
The donation is intended to support the provision of modern facilities for practical science education at the school.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mohammed described education as the foundation of sustainable development and urged the graduating pupils to remain focused, disciplined and committed to academic excellence.

He also commended the management of Global Education Center, its teachers and parents for their efforts towards providing quality education and nurturing young people.
The ceremony featured the recognition of outstanding academic achievements and marked the graduation of pupils from the school, with stakeholders reaffirming the importance of education in the development of the community.
According to Abuh Godwin Ojonugwa, Media Assistant to the Zonal Security Adviser, the interventions were part of Mohammed’s commitment to supporting quality education and the development of young people in the area.
