Assembly Commission Condoles With Kogi Legislators Over Member’s Demise

Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission has condoled the State Legislators over the death of their Colleague, Hon. John Abah member representing, Ibaji Constituency.

The Commission also commiserated with the immediate family of the late Lawmaker and the People of Ibaji Constituency over the development.

In a condolence message by the Commission, it described the deceased as an erudite law maker who made useful contributions on legislative matters on the floor of the House which translated to the progress and development of the State.

In the message, the commission noted that the gentle disposition of the deceased no doubt would be missed by all who related with him.

The Commission enjoined his family to take solace in the fact that he lived an exmplary life worthy of emulation having rised to becoming a two time Legislator from his Constituency.

The Commission sympathized with Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, the people of Ibaji Community, the Family and prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.

In a similar vein, the commission has sympathized with the Member representing Ajaokuta Constituency, Hon. Hassan Bello Abdullahi over the death of his father, Hon. Alhaji Hassan Balogun.

The commission in a statement extolled the Leadership role of Alhaji Hassan, saying he contributed his quota towards the development of Ajaokuta Local Government when he served as the Chairman of the area.

He was commended for his resilience, doggedness and commitment in areas where he served, as General Manager, Radio Kwara, Ajaokuta Steel Company under Establishment Department as well as the Rolling Mill as Assistant General Manager in Oshogbo, Osun State.

The Members of the Commission enjoined Hon. Bello Abdullahi and members of the family to be consoled by the fact that their father lived a fulfilled life and impacted the society positively.

They Prayed Allah to grant his soul peaceful rest and those he left behind the strength to bear the loss.
