CEDO’s Veins Flow With the Milk of Kindness – Salem Hope Obochi

A man who knows the pains of others, certainly deserves the baton to lead the rest; for such a leader doesn’t find it difficult to bring succour to his people.

H.E, Chief Edward David Onoja is a thoroughbred philanthropist, he has used his position as the then Chief of Staff to the Governor in building people and assisting a lot of people, and this is not fiction, but fact. Now, even as The Deputy Governor of the State, he’s doing more.

In April, 2019, while I was preparing for the Nigerian Law School, I and some of my course mates who are also indigenes of Kogi State were finding it difficult to raise our Law School fees. So I got his contact and reached out to him to assist. I had never had any contact with him before then, but he was touched when I narrated everything to him via phone calls.

Shockingly, he asked me to make a list for 30 persons; 10 from each Senatorial District of the State numbering 30 persons. I reached out and got extra names to the list and sent to him.

Days later, while I was having a meeting with my friend, King-Sadiq Attah, CEDO credited my account; 200,000 each for 30 of us. I couldn’t believe my eyes, until I showed my friend who was with me to be very sure. Instantly, I got in touch with everyone on the list, and they all got the money accordingly, and to the Glory of GOD, everyone on the list is a proud Lawyer today, including myself. We are grateful to him. I drop this with all sincerity and in appreciation of his kindness and altruistic dexterity.

Leadership has to do with capacity, consistency, kindness, technical knowledge, and CEDO has it all and more. Let’s all support him for a better Kogi State.
