The Rector, Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, Mr William Charles has felicitated with Christian faithfuls on the occasion of the Christmas festivities while charging them to show love to all and sundry, which is an emulation of God’s Nature.
The Rector who gave this admonition on Saturday alluded that Christmas represented a season of the expression of God’s saving love to humanity and the commencement of the process of the eventual sacrificing of his son for the redemption of mankind.
He used the medium to appreciate the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for being a leader with great foresight and huge investment in the education sector and particularly with his staunch supporter of NKFI
The Rector also appreciated the management and staff members of NKFI for their continued support, urging them to remain committed to repositioning the academic citadel
He added that Christians and even citizenry should take time to reflect on how to be better citizens as they spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones noting that a better nation was attainable when we have better citizens.
While urging everyone to remain vigilant and security conscious, he asked that celebrations should be done with caution as individuals must be weary of celebrating in such a way the could be injurious to other members of the society.
He also called on well meaning Nigerians to use this period to pray for the peace of the nation and its togetherness, asserting that everyone should pray for the peaceful and successful conduct of the 2023 General Elections.
