COS Asuku greets Solid Mineral Commissioner, Bashir Gegu at 41

Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Moh’d Jamiu has felicitated with the honorable commissioner for Solid Minerals And Natural Resources of Kogi State who is also the Dan Masani-Daudu of Gegu-Beki, HRH, Engr. Bashir Abubakar Gegu as he turned 41.

The Chief of Staff in a statement by his Special Assistant Abubakar Yahya Mujahid in Lokoja on Friday described Engineer Bashir Abubakar Gegu as his good friend and brother, and also as an astute leader, administrator, and political stalwart whose credentials were worthy of emulation.

“As you mark your 41 years today, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a leader in Gegu-Beki and as the commissioner for Solid Minerals And Natural Resources to the Kogi State Government”.

The Chief of Staff lauded Engr. Bashir Gegu for his active contributions to the growth and development of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State and for his astute leadership in Kogi Local Government Area. He noted that Engr. Bashir Gegu was one of the people who stood firmly for Gov. Yahaya Bello’s governorship bid.

“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate around the entire Gegu-Beki, Kogi, and beyond and we celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state, adding your commitment to humanity”.

At 41, the Chief of Staff affirmed that Engr. Bashir Gegu demonstrates uncommon strength and wisdom enjoyed only by a few people of his age. He stressed that his legacy of always seeking the good of Kogi state through his unblemished forthrightness, diligence, and broad-mindedness are benchmarks for political leaders.

The Chief of Staff prayed that the almighty God will continue to bless Engr. Bashir Gegu with longer life, good health, and strength to keep serving the state that he loves so much.
