Dekina NYCN backs Prince Ishaq for LGA Chairman
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Dekina Local Government Area has thrown it’s weight behind the candidature of the APC candidate in next month’s council polls in the State, Hon Isiaka Shaibu Okolo
The council made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja by the NYCN coordinator, Comrade Ogwu Salisu Apeh.
The Coordinator who congratulated Hon Isiaka for receiving the All Progressive Congress (APC) Flag ahead of the election said there is no vacancy in the council as they were confident of the ability of the flagbearer.
Comrade Ogwu said the candidate is a widely accepted politician in view of his pro – masses disposition, saying the loyalty he enjoyed cut across all and zundry irrespective of party/Political affiliation.
“Just few days to the official handling over of the party flag to him which is today, the support he received by various groups consisting of Market Women, N.U.R.T.W, NIMOTA, Artisans, families and friends, youths/women groups and independent donors.
“In view of the above, one can conclude that there is “No opposition to Prince Ishaq” and see it as a testament that “No mortal can stop an Idea whose time has come.”
