Engr Bashir Gegu condoles family over death of Fmr political associate, PDP stalwart Muhammed Abdullahi Maigida
Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Muhammed (Bashir Gegu) has condoled the family of late Muhammed Abdullahi Maigida Nyaba who was a PDP Ex officio in the State.
In a press statement by the Commissioner noted that Late Maigida who hailed from Chikara North ward in Zone ‘C’ of Kogi Local Government Area, was an astute politician who had the development of the Zone in particular and the entire state at heart.
Engr Bashir, who said the deceased was a quintessential politician added that he would be sorely missed by all and sundry.
The Commissioner stressed that Zone ‘C’ would miss him irrespective of party affiliation, adding that it is his fervent prayer for the soul of the deceased to rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
While also praying for Almighty Allah to grant fortitude to the rekations and members of the family of Late Maigida, he said death was inevitable as it is a debt that all mortals must pay.
