Hon Gentle calls on Lokoja / Koto people to join APC en mass »

The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Women and Youth Mobilisation for Lokoja / Kotonkarfe Federal Constituency, Hon Hussein Idris popularly known as ‘Gentle’ has called on the people of the area to join the ruling APC in large numbers in the ongoing registration and revalidation.

He made the call on Tuesday at the Government House in Lokoja shortly after the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello departed the state capital for his country home of Okene for the flag off.

Hon Gentle said many decisions are made at party level and that party politics is what translates into many policies and programmes of government through which the people are ruled by the political class.

The SSA noted that for them to have the power of bargaining for more dividends of democracy, they must first belong to a political family, adding that the registration and revalidation was an opportunity for them to be part of the largest ruling party in Nigeria and the political process.

The aide, who was full of praise for the Governor for his mobilisation ability which has put a spotlight on the need to belong to the APC said it has also attracted people to joining the APC.

He called on the people of Lokoja / Kotonkarfe federal constituency to rally round the current administration in the state for its genuine love for the area which has brought about positive impact on the citizens.

Hon Gentle, who assured the Governor of the commitment of his office and that of other advisers to continue to mobilise the people to support the government, stressed that they remained grateful for his genuine love for them.
