Ibaji SSA security, Thomas Offor Convanes Elaborate Security Meeting In Echeno community

In line with the directive sternly issued by Governor, Yahaya Bello in ensuring peace and stability from the nooks and crannies of the state, the SSA on security in charge of Ibaji LGA, swiftly held a joint meeting with critical stakeholders of Echeno community to resolve all lingering issues.

The meeting held on 20th of December 2023 at the Echeno community the headquarters of Ojila ward, was presided over by the SSA on security in charge of Ibaji local government council, Hon Thomas Offor with Chief Ego 1 Ogaonu Echeno, Mr. Abel Ogaonu 2, Village Chairman, and all the Awohi from Echeno, Council members, and other critical stakeholders are in attendance. The meeting elaborated on security strategies, collaborations, and preemptive measures to forestall any possible unrest in the community and its environ.

Hon Thomas Offor said Ibaji Local Government shares border with four states of the Federation namely Anambra, Enugu, Edo, Delta from the Ujeh, Odeke, Obale, etc flang. he charged the youths of the Echeno community who have a reputation for civility and law-abiding to ensure and continue with their peace and there should be vigilance against invaders.

The communities in the riverine areas of the local government are further charged to up their radar of vigilance on any suspicious move or strange faces within their area. Strategies to monitor water banks at all times where boat anchors must be deliberate to nip crime at its birth stage within the area.

The SSA on security assures the good people of the Echeno community that the safety of their lives and properties is the principal commitment of the New Direction Government and it will never be reneged on.
