Isanlu Robbery: Perpetrators will not go scot free, Gov. Bello assures »

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has condemned the armed robbery attack perpetrated in Isanlu area of Yagba East Local Government Area which led to the deaths of a Divisional Police Officer, some policemen and other civilians.

The Governor said the event was a dark period in the state while he described the act as evil and dastardly assuring that the perpetrators would not go scot free.

The Governor made this known on Friday in a press briefing at the Government House after conveying a security meeting with top officials of the State’s Security Agencies in Lokoja.

Governor Bello mentioned that such event was the second time it would occur since the inception of his administration noting that security of lives and property have always being the focus of his administration.

He expressed that security operatives in the state have been ordered to fish out the culprits noting that he was confident that they would be nabbed soonest.

The Governor before his address requested for a one minute silence in honour of the lives that were lost in the incidence while he also condoled with the families of those who were killed by the men of the underworld.
