JUST IN: Urah Ikani Dissolves Revenue Heads, Units in Dekina LGA
In a bid to enhance revenue generation in Dekina Local Government Area, the Caretaker Chairman, Honourable John Urah Ikani has dissolved all revenue apparatuses and their leaders.
The Chairman made this announcement shortly after a critical meeting with stakeholders of the sector in Dekina on Monday.
The decision the Chairman noted was to fine-tune the revenue administration machinery in Dekina Local Government Area to conform with the recent Revenue Law passed by Kogi State House of Assembly.
He thanked those who have been dissolved for their selfless service, and used the the opportunity to call on the people of Dekina Local Government Area to ensure prompt payment of their taxes for the speedy development of the area. The Caretaker Chairman further assured that a new revenue team will be constituted soon.
