Kogi APC primary; Youth Alliance congratulates Gov Bello »

A youth organisation, Youth Alliance Forum has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his victory at Thursday’s APC primary election which held in Lokoja.

The Chairman of the group, Comrade Abuh Abdulmalik stated this in a press he made available to pressmen shortly after the process in which he described the victory as well deserved.

The group which is under the leadership of Mutari Bello Integrity Group also expressed satisfaction with the gubernatorial primary, stressing its resolve to work assiduously to ensure Governor Bello’s victory at the November gubernatorial poll.

The Chairman said the entire process which was peaceful, orderly and rancour-free, had given democracy a new meaning in Kogi State, as it was the first time since 1999 that such a transparent process would be witnessed in the state.

He called on other aspirants to close ranks with the Governor and his team to ensure they move the APC and the administration forward, in view of the tremendous achievements that have been recorded so far under the leadership of the Governor.

Comrade Abdulmalik further commend delegate for doing the right thing by keying behind the Governor which translated to the overwhelming victory, action that has paved the way for him to continue his good work for the next four years.

He equally hailed the party’s Primary Committee headed by the Jigawa State Governor for conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible primary in Kogi State, adding that the action of the Governor made the whole exercise unquestionable.
