Live update from the venue of Kogi APC gubernatorial primaries

So far so good, the voting by delegates which commenced earlier today which has been peaceful and orderly has ended. Sorting and counting is currently ongoing.

The voting process which was done simultaneously after accreditation was well coordinated as delegates were in their best behaviors which facilitated the speed and made the conduct of the exercise smooth.

Speaking with agent to the Governor of Kogi State in the primaries, Hon. Edward Onoja, he expressed confidence that his candidate would emerge victorious in the end.

Hon. Onoja who is also the Chief of Staff to the Governor said his senatorial district which is the largest in the state would all vote for the candidacy of Governor Bello because they appreciate his efforts.

“A lot has been said about the person of Governor Bello, ranging from he’s from minority tribe to others. Who cares, all the people are concern about is development and he has done well, kudos to him and I believe he will win.

“You can see that the process is free, fair and transparent. In all ramifications the Governor has done his best to secure our state, cut development across every sector.”

“APC is a family and we will equally coast home to victory in the November 16 governorship election,” he added.

According to Hon. Onoja the leadership of the party overcame all the petition led agains it in the law court concerning what faction of the party which be recognized couple with the mode of primaries adopted.

Other dignitaries at the occasion also expressed their satisfaction with the conduct of the primaries and hoped that APC would produce the best candidate for November governorship election in Kogi State.
