Kogi at 35: Deputy Governor Leads Special Prayers »

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State has led a special prayer session for the peace, unity and continued development of the state as part of activities marking its 35th anniversary.

The prayer session was held on Wednesday at the Government House Chapel, where Christian leaders gathered to seek divine intervention, wisdom and protection for Kogi State and its people.

The gathering was hosted by the Chaplain of the Government House Chapel, Pastor Henry Asarapo, and attracted several Christian leaders, including Bishop John Ibenu.

The clerics prayed for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, members of his administration and other government officials, seeking divine wisdom and strength for them to continue serving the people.

The prayers also focused on the prosperity, peace, unity and development of Kogi State, while asking for God’s guidance in the affairs of the state.

The gathering underscored the role of faith and prayer in marking the state’s anniversary and expressing hopes for its continued progress.

Kogi State was created in 1991, and the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the state’s journey while looking ahead to its development and prosperity.

The prayer session at the Government House Chapel formed part of the activities commemorating the state’s 35th anniversary.
