Kogi Deputy Governor mourns late Chief Judge, describes loss as huge

Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward has joined the nation in mourning the late Chief Judge of Kogi State, Honourable Justice Nasir Ajanah, who died today after a brief illness.

Onoja who spoke in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Promise, said he was acutely pained by the death of the late jurist. 

He described the late Justice Ajanah as a ‘father-figure’ and a quintessential legal luminary who lit up the Judiciary with his erudition, fought doggedly for the rule of law and was passionate about navigating the relationship between the Executive and Legislative Arms of Government into calm waters. 

The Deputy Governor noted that the late Chief Judge’s death has robbed Kogi State, the Judiciary and indeed Nigeria of his wealth of experience. He sent his deepest condolences as well as prayers for divine comfort to Hon. Kabir Ajana Mohammed both whom he described as a friend and brother to him. He extends his condolences to the entire family of the deceased, the state and all those touched in any way  by his loss, saying that he would be greatly missed.

He also expressed his condolences to the Ebira nation whom have lost an illustrious son along with the Kogi State Judiciary who is worst hit by absence of his leadership.
