Kogi Governor Appoints student who developed COVID-19 Assessment App »

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, has approved the appointment of Mr Anthony Edogbo as his Technical Assistant on Private Sector/Digital Economy with effect from 1st October, 2020.

In the appointment letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Ayoade Folashade Arike, PhD, the Governor said the appointment of Mr Edogbo is based on his Intelligence, Creativity and Patriotism. He urged Mr Edogbo to be committed in the discharge of his duties which he noted will enhance rapid growth of the State.

Anthony Edogbo is a medical student at the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. He has made tremendous contribution to the development of Kogi State especially in the health sector where he was involved in the development of COVID-19 risk assessment App and also played significant role in COVID-19 prevention awareness in the state.
