Kogi Guber: Andas predicts Gov.Bello' s victory »

The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the November 16th Governorship election in Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has been tipped to emerge as the winner of the poll.

At a special prayer session held to pray for a peaceful conduct of the election at the Kogi State House of Assembly mosque, Lokoja, the Chairman of Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Malik predicted that Alhaji Yahaya Bello will win with a wide margin that would not give room for any litigation arising from the election by his opponents.

He revealed that the State Governor first made his intention to seek for a second term in office at the inauguration of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission on 17 April, 2018 which demonstrated the love and confidence the State Governor has in the Commission by his public pronouncement at the inauguration ceremony.

Alhaji Andas disclosed that he decided to organise the prayer for the APC flag bearer because of his achievements in office and the need for him to consolidate on this in his second tenure pointing out that his assent to the Bill to establish the Commission and successful inauguration has further made the third Arm of the government a pride and core of democracy in the state.

According to him, after the state Governor’s victory, he would organise another prayer session to pray for Allah protection, wisdom and direction to enable him have a more successful second term in office.

In his remarks, the Majority Leader, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Abdullahi Bello who lead other lawmakers commended the Commission for organising the
prayer session and prayed for the State Governor’s Victory at the poll.

The prayer session was attended by the Director General Bureau of Information and Grass Root Mobilization, Alhaji Abdulkareem Abdulmalik,Permanent Members and Secretary of the Commission, Permanent Secretaries from different ministries, Management and Staff of the Commission amongst others.
