Newly appointed DG Protocol expresses gratitude to Bello, Onoja
The newly appointed Director General Protocol, Dr. Gabriel Ottah has expressed deep gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy to serve as his parsonal aide.
Dr. Ottah stated this on Saturday in a familiarisation chat with Government House Press Crew at his lodge in Lokoja.
The DG Protocol who said he was only doing his biddings each time an assignment was delegated to him, explained how he never expected the appointment to head the protocol unit of the government.
Dr. Ottah, however, praised Governor Yahaya Bello for his display of unbiased quality leadership and transparency in handling the state affairs.
He equally thanked the Deputy Governor nominee, Chief Edward Onoja for the trust he has in his capability to have always recommended him to anchor events each time the government had the need.
The DG, Protocol reassured of his readiness to redouble efforts in order to justify the confidence reposed in him by the government.
“I will bring my experience to bear on the job for the overall development of the state,” he said.
He also solicited the understanding and cooperation of the people in his new assignment.
It would be recalled that a vacuum was created following the resignation of the immediate past Chief of Staff, Hon. Edward Onoja and the replacement of Pharm Abdulkareem Asuku who was the DG Protocol.
