PAAU VC Urges Unity, Sacrifice During Eid-el-Kabir Celebration »

The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the university’s management, senate, staff and students, the Vice-Chancellor described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred period of reflection, sacrifice and devotion to Almighty Allah.

He also extended special felicitations to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, and members of the Consolidation and Continuity family for the opportunity to witness the celebration.

Prof. Ogbo prayed for Allah’s mercy, guidance and protection upon the people, urging citizens to continue promoting unity, sincerity and selfless service for the advancement of the university, the state and the country at large.

According to him, the spiritual significance of Eid-el-Kabir should inspire renewed hope, peace and prosperity among Nigerians.

The Vice-Chancellor further expressed optimism that acts of worship and sacrifice observed during the festival would bring forgiveness and blessings to all faithful.

He wished Muslims and their families a peaceful, joyous and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
