Pictures Story: Mrs Rashida Bello and Ejura Onoja attends wedding ceremony of Mohammed and Jemila
Wives of Kogi State Governor, Mrs Rashida Bello and Deputy, Mrs Ejura Mercy Onoja on Saturday turned up to honour and celebrate the wedding of Mohammed and Jemila which held in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Mohammed who served as a domestic staff is also an adopted child of the first lady, Mrs Rashida Bello.
Mrs Ejura Onoja who spoke briefly in an opening remark at the event, praised wife of the Governor, Mrs Rashida Bello for her kindness and being humane to have adopted and continued to treat Mohammed as a son.
She commended the couple for their decision to come together as one, inspite ethnic differences, referring to it as “a way of breaking ethnic barriers and promoting Governor Yahaya Bello’s Ebigo Agenda.”
Wife of the Deputy Governor, however admonished the couple to watch and learn from the footsteps of Mrs Bello whom she described as an “advocate of a peaceful and successful marriage” that she was still learning under.
Mrs Rashida Bello, while presiding over the cutting of the cake urged the couple to be prayerful and avoid third parties in their marriage.
