Rashida BBello empowers women, PLWDs with cash to mark Kogi at 31
As part of activities marking the 31st anniversary of the creation of Kogi state, the wife of governor Yahaya Bello, Mrs. Rashida Bello in her quest to empower people in the rural areas, particularly women, has given financial support to over 350 indigent women including persons living with disabilities across the 21 local government areas of the state.
The empowerment, according to Mrs Bello is aimed at assisting the women to start-up or invest in their existing businesses in order to become self-reliant.
