The Zonal Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government for Ankpa Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, has commended the Ankpa Support Group for their generous donation of three Bajaj motorcycles to aid the security operations in Ankpa Local Government.

The motorcycles were officially handed over to the Chairman of Ankpa Local Government, Hon. Ademu Mohammed Yahaya, for onward distribution to the vigilante groups operating within the council. This gesture is part of ongoing efforts to combat insecurity and enhance the operational efficiency of local security teams.

While presenting the motorcycles at the Ankpa Local Government Secretariat, Alhaji Isah Abdul, a former Chairman of Ankpa Local Government and a representative of the Ankpa Support Group, emphasized that the donation underscores the group’s commitment to improving the security landscape in the region. He noted that the motorcycles are not for personal use but are vital tools for patrols and rapid response.
