UniJos Alumni mourns Barrister Shaba's deceased mother, Hajiya Bilkisu Suleiman »

The University of Jos Alumni Association has expressed sadness over the demise of mother to one of its members and a member of the National Assembly, Hajiya Bilkisu Suleiman.

It said the deceased who was the mother of Barrister Shaba Ibrahim was a woman of great repute whose dedication to her Islamic faith was exemplary and thus prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul in Jannatul Firdaus.

Kogi State Chapter Chairman of the Alumni, Hon. Oladipo Bayode said the deceased was not only a mother to its members, but that she was a mother to all.

“Late Hajiya Bilkisu Suleiman was a mother to Arc Mahmood who is a committed member of our association and Barrister Shaba Ibrahim who is a member of the National Assembly. She was therefore a mother to us in the Alumni and as such, we not only mourn with them, but we mourn the loss of a mother figure.”.

Meanwhile, the Alumni Association in a prayer session at the association’s congress prayed for Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdaus.

The special prayer was led by Engr. Musa Opotu who also prayed God to comfort the family at this time of mourning.
