Engr. Dr. Abubakar Ohere a very versatile and vastly experienced man who has made his mark in public office. His is imbued with diplomacy and organisational leadership acumen. An enigma, who needs little or no introduction on account of his political dexterity, forthrightness and his ability in bringing more development in Kogi Central.

He is in the race to impact people’s life and to redefine and provide positive and all-inclusive representation in the red chamber with zest, bringing in what people can benefit from legislative intervention, engage in ensuring tangible presence of government in the senatorial district.

Ohere with the nitty-gritty, clear understanding role and responsibility of a Senator. Hence, he will contextualise it; in the context of representing his constituency and being the eyes, nose and ears of Kogi Central Senatorial district. He is passionate about the wellbeing, peace, progress and stability of the people.

With his global exposure Ohere in a better position to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of our people; foster national unity, and propose bills and motions that will have a direct positive impact on his constituency through social-economic well-being by creating opportunities for employment for the youth.

At this point, it is visible to all discerning mind that what the kogi central need is someone who is highly experienced, a bridge builder, networker, a parliamentarian per excellence and one who has the capacity to leverage on the gains and successes that we have recorded so far as a state under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
