Wednesday before the Easter weekend of 2018, I got a call from CEDO;

“J.F.O, how are you, how this Easter go be?”

“Chief Sir, we dey manage o, my wife dey sell chicken abi you no see my advert?” I replied.

“That’s why I am calling, I see your advert for Whatsapp, I need you to do a compilation of 200 widows each from west, central and east for me, carry two chicken to each one and I will also send you N5000 for everyone of them to buy ingredients make Dem sef chop Easter, abi how you see am?”

I was dumbfounded…

600widows!?

1,200 fowls?!

Where will I find them?

He cut the call as another call interrupted our call and I put a call immediately to my late friend’s wife who attends the same church as I do and she told me they had a society for widows in every local government, she helped me to get their names and phone numbers and I called CEDO back and before I could give him the budget he called out the exact amount needed to make it happen. He was that accurate with figures.

“I will add you 200k for your fuel, make it happen before the morning of Easter Sunday” he said.

I carried some members of my band and we began the move, it was an emotional experience that till date I have never experienced such…., families that had no idea where their next meal will come from…widows with kids living in very inhabitable shackles, see tears and prayers, they thought I was the one presenting the gifts as CEDO had instructed I remain silent about his name and till date I have never told anyone apart from my band boys who worked with me on this.

600widows ( 200per senatorial district) had two chicken plus 5k for their Easter and all he asked them to do was to pray for YAHAYA BELLO, he was specific on this and all the 600 widows with tears prayed from their heart, some old ones even removed their breast, hitting their chest and prayed….I was in awe….it changed my life spiritually till date.
